Last week on the 24th, the last Saturday of the month. We headed out to shoot Rachael + Zach’s wedding at Germantown Inn. We've been friends with Rachael for several years and met Zach for the first time when they joined us in our box suite at the Nashville Soccer Club. We hit it off immediately, and seeing their dynamic together was fun to witness! The combo of Rachael's flirty feistiness mixed with Zach's cool, calm demeanor and understated humor; it was a perfect match.

Fast forward to the day, I get a FaceTime call from Rachael while they're in Italy where Zach had surprised her with a proposal in one of the most romantic cities in the world (not bad Zach, not bad). Soon after, Rachael reached out again and asked if we could capture her wedding. Of course, we were, and what a privilege!

Photographing a friend's wedding, whether they're in the industry or not, is special. It communicates a certain level of trust and safety with that relationship. You get one shot to tell the story of their day as we highlight their union and the aspects they value most for their wedding. I love what we captured because there were so many intimate moments between friends and family. It was a beautiful day, brought together by many talented people who know and love Rachael + Zach.
