Venue Highlight: Clementine

There’s a good number of venues around Nashville. All of them have their place in the array of options, but some in terms of style and vibe stand out from the rest. Clementine Hall is one of those venues. An old church nestled on the corner next to the beautiful and delicious Hathorne Restaurant. Clementine is not to be missed as your next choice for a wedding venue.

The owners, Dan & Barbara Cook, have renovated and designed the space from the bottom up and their attention to style and detail shows throughout. Follow along as we highlight some of our favorite aspects of this unique Nashville Wedding Venue!

Let’s talk about the courtyard. The courtyard at Clementine is completely walled in for privacy and gives a wonderful exclusive feel to your event. It’s also perfect size to accommodate a band, and a bar, when the weather is warm, and it’s always a dream for an evening cocktail hour!

The courtyard is not just a social space, its also beautifully designed and allows for an excellent space for formals. Theres literally no backdrop that isn’t picture worthy!

The main hall is what you enter when you come through the front entrance. It also doubles as a ceremony & reception space and is usually flipped during cocktail hour. Now, often venues don’t have designated or well designed spaces to accommodate cocktail hour. However, Clementine has this in spades. It has an entire separate space used for drinks and socializing with a long bar at the far end, that can hold up to 4 bartenders allowing for a quick and steady flow of drinks for your guests. It also wraps around to the outside patio creating a perfect loop that allows guest plenty of room to spread out and enjoy themselves while the main reception area is being flipped.

The reception space is huge, it encompasses the entire venue after the ceremony is done, and it provides a space for everyone. Want to cool down from dancing? Go on out into the patio and relax for bit in the fresh air in your own private courtyard! Want to stay inside, under designer lighting near the immaculately laid out bar full of your favorite libations, go on! Then head back into the main space with a huge dance floor and a big side stage for the live band!

Clementine is a standout venue, and it truly does not disappoint from a practical or style standpoint. Its one of our favorite places to shoot and we highly recommend you check it out!
