Last weekend it was chilly, overcast, and rainy. However, that didn't stop us from having an amazing day with Meaghan + Brian on their wedding day. We met up at the Bell Tower for an intimate day surrounded by close friends and family. One of my favorite parts of a wedding is seeing how people show up and support the couple. This day did not disappoint as Meaghan + Brian have a life full of people who care for them greatly. The words shared that night and the moments we captured, all tell a story of strong bonds developed between a group of people who have lived a qualitative life together. Meaghan + Brian not only shared a special day between themselves but also intentionally made space for their beautiful children who got to witness such a fantastic day alongside them.

This was one of our last weddings of the year, and Meaghan + Brian made it a wonderful one. I personally cried during the first dance, albeit hiding behind my camera lens as they danced to Jason Isbell’s Vampires (gets me every time 😭). Along with that Meaghan + Brian emphasized that they wanted us to focus on candid sincere moments unfolding in real time of their dear friends and family that surrounded them on the day. We love that as photographers! The night was capped off with one last dance between the happy couple before we headed to Layer Cake to capture some of the wedding’s after-party. It was a super fun space, and the contrast of them in their wedding attire against the backdrop of the Alice and Wonderland oddities of Layer Cake made for a dream spot to wrap up the night 😍
