Thursday Morning I headed out to Centennial Park to meet up with Will + Katie for their engagement shoot. I. Love. Engagement shoots! When it comes to my couples, I love getting them in front of the camera before the wedding and letting the dynamic unfold and develop between us. It’s such a valuable time to get to each other a little better, and to see what works and what doesn't work for couples when they’re in front of the camera.

It was the spot of their first date, and it was super fun to hear their story and how they hit it off so well! We spent some time there and then walked up to a little park and strolled around for a bit, listening to music, chatting, capturing some beautiful moments together. It was a fantastic morning. Love when my days start off this good!

Hannah + Alex had two wonderful requests. First they wanted to do their first look at Belcourt Taps, where they met for their first date. As the story goes, they both ordered water, hours into the date, they both realized they’d been so enthralled in their conversations, that they’d not taken a single sip. A very good sign if you ask me.
