Jill + Becca Wedding

I met Jill + Becca what feels like a long time ago over a FaceTime meeting. We immediately had a good vibe going and were laughing within the first few minutes of chatting. At the time, they were both in New York, planning their wedding in Nashville. We had chats about meeting up when they were going to be in town for wedding things. However, it never really happened, and the first time we actually got to see each other in person was on their wedding day!

The weather was amazing, and we were pumped to get to the Bridge Building to start shooting. To our surprise, the bridges to cross the river were closed!? It took us a while to find a way to cross. When we got up to the Bridge Building, Becca let us know that not only herself but Jill were also having trouble getting over and were running a little late. Any time you get that sort of stressful situation at the beginning of your wedding day, it's gonna impact how you feel. It was no different for Jill + Becca; what was beautiful, though, was the immediate support of their friends and family. Everyone was on deck to make sure that they were taken care of. Whatever was needed was handled right away.

It's one of my favorite parts about weddings to see a couple's people, rally, support, and make sure that this incredibly important day is as special as it should be. Jill + Becca had that in spade! Our time together for photos was so great. We took it slow, pushed some other things back, and took our time to make sure they felt grounded, calm, and present with one another before moving on with the rest of the day's moments.

To say the day was special is an understatement, and we’re so happy with how these photos are looking.

We hope you enjoy this little wedding photo blog previewing their Fall Nashville wedding. Cheers!
